Departure is from the centre of Bibbona towards the cemetery where the road quickly becomes unpaved.

After about 1 km you come across to a fork: keep left and begin to climb through the brush until you reach an intersection.

On the left, near a barrier, Path n°5 starts: the dirt road climbs gently, first through the cypress trees and then among Holly oaks and Turkey oaks, rising in the last part before reaching the Passo del Terminino (281 m.a.s.l.).

Here you turn right onto the Path n°10 that continues to climb gradually for 1,7 km to Poggio al Fango (340 m.a.s.l.) reaching the valle del Botro Campo di Sasso on Path n°12 with the scenic route, which remains elevated for 3 km until the fork on the right where the Path n°13 starts.

The first short stretch of the path (400 m) is too rough to pedal, but then it turns into a comfortable, lovely unpaved road lined by a double row of cypress trees that descends along the Botro Campo di Sasso.

The road continues downhill passing through Poggio Cornetto until the bridge on the Botro degli Strinati before rising again to the fork where you go left to Bibbona.
An alternative short route (9 km and 120 m of difference in altitude ): follow the same itinerary as far as the Path n°5 barrier (2,6 km); here turn right onto the Path n°6 and after 300 m continue for 2,3 km on Path n°9 until Casetta, in Campo di Sasso.

The road continues downhill passing through Poggio Cornetto until the bridge on the Botro degli Strinati and then rises again to the fork where you go left to Bibbona.

At the end of the descent , at the roundabout, go left and continue on to Cecina (45 km).
The downtown is easily reached by following the signs from the roundabout near the hospital.
Turn on Old Aurelia in a southern direction.
Pass “La California”, and at the roundabout (possible detour to Marina di Bibbona) go straight, crossing over the “Variante Aurelia” S.S 1 until you come back to the little church of San Guido (on the right; 56,5 km) and continue straight returning back to San Vincenzo.
