“The company was founded in the 1950s when my grandfather, Silvio Fuselli, decided to leave Recanati to settle in Bolgheri, where he had purchased some land from Marquis Incisa della Rocchetta. These were difficult and laborious years, during which the founder’s experience in agriculture, combined with the bond between local families and their deep-rooted values, allowed for the achievement of a solid foundation. However, it would be my father Carlo, with energetic passion and the support of my mother Lavinia, who would consolidate the identity of a company that today cultivates leafy vegetables and is among the main producers of basil for the industry in Italy.
In 2014, in memory of grandfather Silvio’s passion for wine, my father decided to proceed with planting a new vineyard of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, followed a few years later by Vermentino. This time, however, as in a perfect passing of the torch, my sister Stefania and I will be the ones to renew the tradition of a family that has its roots in the love for the land.”
